Who Are You?

I have had an epiphany last night. For the longest time, I believed that God has called me to be writer, to convey His truth in these last days. However, I have also taught and preached, and both of these things I loved also. What God brought to my mind last night was that although I used those things as a platform that is NOT why He chose to spare me. He called me to be a disrupter, or a change agent, whose sole purpose was to get believers off the fence they have become so accustomed to sitting on. Given this new understanding of my intended role and that we are in the final stage of the Church, I am beginning to see my role very clearly now.

Although I was raised in church, I was not always like I am today. In fact, for a good number of years, I was what you would call, an active member of the backslidden congregation. I was more interested in being in the world, and having the world accept me, then I was about spiritual matters. By the time I joined the Army in my late teens, I was virtually a CINO (Christian in Name Only). I can tell you with 100% authority, that there is no more miserable person on the planet, than a CINO. It makes you bitter, envious, and angry, because you want the best of both worlds, but cannot have either.

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Matt. 6:24

My readers from back in the Omega Letter days will remember that I have spoken previously about that time in my life where the schism first occurred. I have no intent on rehashing all of that now, but for context, it began back in 2007. At that time, a series of events occurred all in close proximity and it really turned my life upside down and spun me around. Since then, my life has been a journey of intense personal growth, exploration, and spiritual development like no other. This is also not to say that it has all been roses since.

When I sit down and count the cost of what this calling has taken from me, I have come to realize it has been significant. I have lost relationships, friends, career paths, job opportunities, and most importantly, contentment (contentment in the form of accepting my status quo). However, I also realize (as did Job) that I have gained more than I have lost. I have a beautiful wife and family, I have a career and a roof over my head. Most importantly, I know who I am in Christ and what I have to do.

Some might attribute being a dissenter or change agent as to one who is simply causing dissent, strife, or division in churches (Prov. 29:22, Romans 16:17, 1 Tim. 6:3-5). That is not what I am called to do. In the each of those references, the context of the passage is centered on an individual (or group) who seeks strife and dissension for the sake of strife and dissension. Furthermore, the scenario (particularly in the NT) is that the dissenter comes into a church who is already teaching sound doctrine and seeks to disrupt it. I am not called to sound churches, but to the dead ones, and to Luke-warm Christians for the sole-purpose of waking them up, to show them the lateness of the hour, in whatever manner I can do that.

When I first began this journey, I have to admit that I did this in an unbiblical manner, because I did not apply the most important ingredient of declaring the truth in love. I was like the proverbial hammer in a world full of nails. My message was correct, but my delivery was terrible. It took the love and patience of my wife and children to temper that fire that was roaring inside of me. Although I do not claim to be a prophet by any stretch of the imagination, I believe the principle below is equally appropriate to my situation.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Cor. 13:2

Therefore, I am today, a much gentler version than I was when I began this journey. That is not to say my understanding and acceptance of Biblical truth is lesser, because that remains carved in iron. What has been tempered, however, is God taking that hammer (me) and forging me into a useful instrument. In the forging process as you know, you superheat the metal and then hammer it until it reaches the shape you want it to become. I suppose part of that epiphany is finally recognizing that the hammering was not arbitrary, but purposeful to God’s plan. He was not torturing me for the sake of it as if He delighted in my pain and discomfort. There was a rhyme to His reason. This is also not to say that I have arrived, far from it. He is still shaping me daily to become the man He has called me to be.

To The Luke Warm Church

 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,

‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Therefore, even in my understanding of what my role is in this day and age as a change-agent, there is no current-consolation or benefits to the task at hand. People do not like their status quo challenged. Moreover, since churches are filled with people, and these people are connected by making the church an organization or worse, a business, it should be understood that churches like their status quo being challenged even less. In Jesus’s day, He only had one temple and three religious groups to contend with (Sadducees, Pharisees, and Scribes). Today, we have thousands of temples, thousands of equally divergent groups, and millions who worship everything from Allah to Jedi knights. We live in a post-modern (denies absolute truth), post-Christian era, which is attempting to fill the gap formerly provided by Biblical Christianity, with anything and everything else.

Evangelical Christianity used to be the last stronghold of western Christendom. Even now, this is increasingly being replaced with a growing number of unorthodox, pseudo-Christian offshoots in the form of Emergent, Seeker-Sensitive, Prosperity Gospel churches. These have taken the orthodoxy (and orthopraxy) of biblical Christianity, and increasingly blurred the lines to accommodate a culture in rapid decline.

In these groups, it has become increasingly popular to promote a false narrative and image of Jesus Christ. Instead of being God in the Flesh, their Jesus has been relegated-down to the quintessential SJW (social justice warrior). Their Jesus never asks them to look at absolute truth, or make personal changes to their lifestyles; he seemingly only cares about socialist issues such as gender equality, open borders, and global warming. Their Jesus is a COEXIST kinda guy. Just powerful enough to be an icon, but not powerful enough to actually save anyone. This is why the dominant church in this era is the Laodicean church; they have become the church who caters to the will of the people. Therefore, if the people live in a culture where homosexuality and transgenderism becomes the new norms, it can be expected that, that this is also reflected in the pulpits.

Therefore, as one appointed by God to unapologetically point out theological and doctrinal error, I realize that this must be done in love with meekness and gentleness, in order to have any effect for good. I also realize that this comes at a cost. If I am a voice for Biblical truth, in an age when truth is subjective, I will always appear the crazy, foolish, tin-foil hat wearing “doomsday” Christian always going on about the coming judgment of the Lord. I will be perpetually be the outcast at the denominational church as well as the object of ridicule by the secular world.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. 1 Cor. 1:27

Although the worries and cares of this life are fleeting and momentary, as are its elusive definitions of right and wrong, do not worry if I choose not to conform. Do not worry about me if I appear the dissenter or disruptor to the status quo. Do not worry about me if I remain obstinate to accepting sliding morality, or shifting cultural norms. Do not worry about me if I am ever against the grain, and choose not to ‘go with the flow.’ Worry about me if I no longer care, or I appear accepting or tolerant to the things of this world. Because…

…the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17

I understand that I am in this world, but I do not have to be of this world. I understand why my life was frequently wrought with trials and tribulations, and why the things of this world cannot satisfy me, nor anything else other than that which the Lord has provided. I finally understand now who I am, but who are you?

Easter Rapture? (Interesting Theory)

Today is the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as the king of the Jews, but was rejected as such. Today is Nisan 10 on the Jewish calendar as it was in AD 33. It is also a Sunday, as it was back then. The date was March 27, 33 BC on our modern Gregorian calendar.

4 days later, on Nisan 14, Jesus was crucified on the cross. It was the Passover feast and occurred on a Thursday in the year AD 33. This year’s Passover will occur on April 18, 2019 and will also be on a Thursday. The date was March 31, BC on our Gregorian calendar.

3 days later, on Nisan 17 Jesus was resurrected from the dead. It was the Feast of Firstfruits and occurred on a Sunday. The date was April 3, 33 BC on our Gregorian calendar. This year’s F.O.F. will occur on April 21, 2019 and will also be on a Sunday. It is also known as Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday.

I think days of the week might be important in Bible prophecy. I will show this in the example below. This year of AD 2019 mimics AD 33 in regards to the Jewish calendar and the days of the week calendar.  

 The Rapture is imminent (possibly very imminent) and could happen anytime. What day of the week will it occur on …who knows? What is your best guess? Maybe lucky number 7 or 3 (third time is a charm) could be the day. 5 is the number for grace, etc., etc. What year…who knows? Let’s hope and pray it is this year.

Let’s say the Rapture happens between now and the end of November in AD 2021. That is when the Tribulation (Jacob’s Trouble) will begin in the following example. This example is based upon Israel being 80 years old in 2028. It is also based upon the 1230 days – 1290 days “in the midst” theory regarding the 2520 day duration of the Tribulation (go to https://www.raptureready.com/2019/01/18/ancient-calendars-feast-days) . The product of 360 X 7 is 2520…so whatever day of the week the Tribulation starts on, it will end on the same day of the week.  

1)  The A.C. will confirm the covenant with the many on November 26, 2021; Kislev 23; Friday. It is interesting that it occurs on a Friday because of the “seventy sevens” prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27. Think about it. Jesus’ last day (when he was “cut off”) was on a Thursday (go to https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/solving-the-three-day-three-night-mystery/). This was the last day of the 483rd year of Daniel’s prophecy. The time of day was 3:00 pm (Jerusalem time). There would only be 3 hours left in the day before they could bury Jesus for they could do no work the following day which was a Sabbath (special Sabbath of the Feast of Firstfruits). So, the last day of the 483rd year was on a Thursday. I think it is highly likely that the resumption of the 483rd year will be on the following day of Friday. This scenario fits.

2) 1230 days later on April 9, 2025; Nisan 12 (2 days after “Palm Sunday”); Wednesday, the A.C. will commit the A.O.D. Israel will be 77 years old in the year AD 2025. Double 7’s is perhaps significant. This starts the “Great Tribulation” of the last 3.5 years before Jesus’ 2nd Coming to the earth.

3)  1260 days later on September 20, 2028; Tishri 1 (Feast of Trumpets); Wednesday, Jesus will return to the earth at the battle of Armageddon. The A.C. and false prophet will be destroyed at this time and the Judgements of God (seals, trumpets, vials) will have ended.

4)  30 days later on October 20, 2028; Heshvan1; Friday, Daniels’ last 7 (Daniel 9:24) will finish and Jesus will then set up His Millennium Kingdom on earth. This will be the 1290th day since the A.O.D. (Daniel 12:11). Israel will be 80 years old at this time. Moses said: ”by reason of strength” (Psalm 90:10) a man can live to be  80 years old. Modern Israel will live to be eighty by God’s strength, not their own.

5) 45 days later; the 1335th day (Daniel 12:13), December 8, 2028; Kislev 17; Monday, the Wedding Feast of the Lamb will begin. “And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9). Blessed is the key word as it is mentioned in both Daniel 12:12 and Revelation 19:9.

6) Approximately 1000 years later, God/Jesus/Holy Spirit will create a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1) and eternity will begin.

How does that sound? Of course it is only a hypothetical example.

The Wise Shall Understand

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. Daniel 12:4

Imagine if you will that one-day scientists abandon the flawed and completely illogical theory of Darwinian Evolution.  Imagine all that science could accomplish without having that biased monkey hanging on their neck like a dead albatross?

For many of these men and women, it would revolutionize the way they analyze a problem.  Rapid advances in our civilization came because men like Isaac Newton, Nicolai Tesla, and Albert Einstein did not follow the status quo. 

Like the harnessing of electricity, or the invention of the printing press…mankind’s great leaps forward in time propelled understanding to a new level.  A new paradigm opens up and thus spins off subsequent discoveries like an endless Fibonacci Spiral.  What has largely kept men at bay was our own preconceived notions about what was logical, feasible, and possible.  Because of that reason, knowledge was often bottlenecked at various points throughout the course of human history.

A great discovery is made, and there is an explosion of new ideas that spiral out from that one and continue until it reaches a point when further progress becomes frustrated or stifled.  And whether that roadblock comes in the form of a government, a church, or just our preconceived notions about how to do something.  It would seem that man’s capacity for increased knowledge comes in brilliant, brief flashes…followed by long periods of darkness.

A great example of this is in our understanding of the prophetic scriptures, or in how we have come to know what we know.

Most of the Early Church Fathers (ECF) believed in a literal return of Christ and a literal kingdom that He would establish one day in the end times.  (Daniel 2:44-45, Isaiah 65:17-25, Revelation 20).  I imagine we would have had considerable more information about what their thoughts on the prophetic texts were, but the ECF soon became valiantly engaged in battling the Gnostics, Judaizers, pagans, and skeptics for the better part of 250 years against them making inroads into the Church.  They fought just to keep the basic tenets of Christianity intact.  They were able to do all that, and still face ten periods of intense persecution by a pagan Roman Empire. The Sealing

However, beginning in the year 313, Constantine legalized Christianity with the Edict of Milan.  Christianity went from being persecuted and fringe, to being accepted and legal.  Over the course of the rest of that century, instead of Christianity going out into the world, the world would come into Christianity.  (Pergamum)

As Christianity became more acceptable to the establishment (Roman Empire), political correctness got its toe in the door of the church. I imagine it was not very popular to be preaching that Christ would soon return and destroy all the kings and kingdoms of the world, while under the watchful eye of an Emperor.  Allegorizing scriptures provided a way for priests and bishops to remain politically correct and still keep their jobs.  This had begun in earnest by an early “Christian” mystic named Origen in the 3rd Century.  A century later, a Christian priest named Jerome was commissioned to translate the Bible into Latin, finishing around the year 405 A.D.  Around that same time, a Christian theologian named Augustine of Hippo (who had been influenced by Origen), had begun applying that same method of allegorizing the scriptures to all of his interpretations of the Bible. This type of hermeneutics would create a new strain in Eschatology called ‘Amillennialism’.

Like Darwinian Evolution, Amillennialism (a= negative) clung around the neck of that Middle-Ages church like dead weight. For centuries, Amillennialism stifled the prophetic understanding of the Scriptures by dissuading the literal interpretation of the prophetic texts. It denied that Christ would literally return to earth, but that the Kingdom was spiritual and ever-present.  Since Augustine was in large part, the ‘doctrinal-father’ for the Roman Catholic Church (RCC), ‘Amillennialism’ became THE eschatology for most of Christendom.  Moreover, as the RCC gained power and authority, they retained their clerical power by making the Latin Vulgate the only legal and acceptable translation of the Bible.  The only people still able to read and speak Latin were the clergy within the RCC, which ensured that they would have a monopoly on anything that was called “Christian” for the better part of 1,000 years. Removing the Veil

However, the times they were a changing.  A scholar named John Wycliffe in the 1380’s had handwritten a new translation in English. He quickly came under the ire of the Roman Catholic Church. After his death, his works were burned and he was declared a heretic. Another man followed Wycliffe not long after named John Hus who also began handwriting Bibles in English. He did not fair so well as he was arrested and burned at the stake in Germany.

The first printing press was invented around 1450 (Guttenberg) and the first book to ever be printed was the Guttenberg Bible in 1455 (in Latin). (The first English Bible ever printed was the Tyndale Bible [1526]) Now that the Bible was becoming more accessible, and eventually available in something other than Latin, there was an explosion of interest into Christianity. For the first time in over a millennia, people could finally read the Bible in their own language.  They did not have to rely on a priest to tell them what a Bible said.

The early 1500s brought about a long overdue desire for change within Roman Catholicism. The Reformation began as a protest-movement led by a Catholic monk named Martin Luther who was sick of how corrupted the system had become. With the selling of indulgences for the absolution of sins, the “good-works” salvation system, and the abuses by RCC clergy, Luther had finally had enough. On October 31st, 1517, he nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church in Wittenberg, Germany. The rest as they say is history. Protestant groups began popping up all over Europe as the word was put into the vernacular of the common-man. Although the “protesters” may have corrected many of the doctrinal abuses on orthodox Christianity by the RCC, their major failing was that they kept the Catholic Eschatological view point of Amillennialism. The First Great Awakening occurred toward the end of the 1700’s, and Protestant Missionaries were being sent out around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. An evangelistic movement broke out in Ireland in the early-1800s called the ‘Plymouth Brethren’.  They came together and began to study their Bibles in a literal manner shaking off the confines of dead denominationalism altogether.

Just as Martin Luther rediscovered the soteriological doctrine of salvation by grace through faith, so too did these Plymouth Brethren rediscover some long, lost truths. The result of returning to a literal understanding of the entire Bible, led them to the conclusion that the Bible is a) dispensational, b) Pre-Millennial, and c) that they were somewhere near the end times.  Therefore, it wasn’t that John N. Darby and company created Pre-Millennial Eschatology out of thin air, but really, only rediscovered what had been hidden in plain sight for almost 2,000 years. (Philadelphia)

Precept upon Precept

Sir Isaac Newton wrote more about biblical prophecy than he did on any other topic.  He was particularly fascinated by the books of Daniel and Revelation.  Nevertheless, even with all his mental genius and boundless energy to write and study the prophetic word, he remained largely “ignorant” of prophetic events that even the average Bible prophecy student today takes for granted.

Back when I was at the Omega Letter where I had written for a number of years, many of us had looked (and still do) up to Jack Kinsella as not only a pastor, but also a mentor.  He provided a straightforward and simple understanding of not only Bible Prophecy, but of what it means to be a Christian living in these last days. Jack’s mentor was Hal Lindsey. Hal’s mentors were most likely men like Lewis Sperry Chaffer, Cyrus Scofield, and Clarence Larkin.  Larkin and Scofield picked up on what the Plymouth Brethren had been doing decades earlier, which was simply returning to a literal understanding of the Bible. Thanks to those men, we know that we are in that last church age that precedes the coming of our Lord.  (Laodicea)

Each group or generation of men learned from the previous, and that knowledge was passed on, built upon, and measured against the current events of that day.  So we here today, are the recipients of over a 150 years of accumulated learning and study. This learning has been greatly accelerated by the use of the Internet, study bibles, commentaries and teachings.  What had been hidden to many in Christianity only a century ago, has come to light with the return of national Israel to their ancestral homeland.  But even as early as 1919, Cyrus Scofield noted in his Scofield Study Bible, that Israel HAD to become a nation again because a literal reading of Ezekiel 36-37 demanded it.  I imagine he caught a lot of grief for including that in his Bible back then…that was…until 1948.

However, we only know what we know today, because we have stood on the shoulders of giants.  Not only do we benefit from their diligent study and willingness to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, but also we have accumulated more history then them. We have had the privilege to see Israel become a nation again.  We have seen the formation of revived Roman Empire via the Europe Union, coming together into a single political and economic body.  We have seen the collapse of the Soviet Union and the reemergence of Russia.  We are now seeing Red China rising and the US declining.  We are seeing the push for a New World Order that will one day lead to a one-world currency, religion, and political body.  We are seeing the signs of increasing natural disasters in both frequency and intensity.  We are seeing technology moving at a frightening pace that allows men to play god and computers to become like men. Communications have become global with an instantaneous reach.  Artificial intelligence is leaving the realms of science fiction and becoming reality. There is in increased fascination with the supernatural, occultic, and unexplainable. 

Closing Thoughts

Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12:8-10

Once again we are reaching that point in time where the prophetic text has been studied, preached, taught, and dissected so many ways…by so many great teachers, that it seems impossible that we could still pull any new information out of what we already know.  Any study, about any verse of the Bible is available many times over in either written, audio, or video formats.  I do not know what else can be brought out of the most intensely studied book in the history of the world. 

These are indeed exciting times, but the watchmen can grow very weary in seeing how rapidly the world is sinking into spiritual and moral depravity.  It weighs heavy on our hearts.  We are instructed to be ready, to watch, and to lift our heads up when these things begin to happen. 

Nevertheless, there is one other thing I do know, and that is we will have the privilege of seeing what the prophets, apostles, early church fathers, and those godly men of old, longed to see.  If we are patient, and watching, we will be that generation in the not too distant future who hears the shout, the voice of the Archangel, and the Trump of God calling us home. 

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:1-3

Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Easter Eggs


For many of my more seasoned readers, the term Easter eggs is often associated with the wistful, nonsensical, and commercialized holiday that has been seemingly absconded by non-Christians so they do not feel left out in what orthodox Christians consider the most holy of holidays. This begins with Palm Sunday and run through Resurrection Sunday. However, in the modern vernacular, and in particular, this article, the Easter egg refers to what has become the modern adaptation of it…i.e., the hidden symbols, references, pictures, etc., that are now seemingly commonplace in more and more films/movies in production today. These Easter eggs often either foreshadow movies yet to come, or pay homage to some movie or past events.

Over the past 10 years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in large part, due to its heavy usage of Easter eggs in its movies. In 22 separate movies, Marvel has successfully managed to intertwine a larger narrative connecting the films in a way never been done before (in size and scope) due in large part, to the heavy usage of Easter Eggs and post-credit scenes. This has been successful in building up and foreshadowing what would come next in the MCU’s future. In fact, there has been a slew of cottage industries built up around trying to decipher all this on YouTube and other video outlets.

With Marvel’s crown jewel culminating at the end of this month with Avenger’s Endgame, you can expect the Easter eggs to be as thick as a North Korean minefield. Nevertheless, as ingenious as people think Marvel are for using this sort of clever marketing, they were not the first to use the Easter egg. In fact, the inventor of the Easter egg was God Himself when He dropped into the Garden of Eden and personally delivered the mother of allEaster eggs in Genesis 3, when He condemns the serpent for his role in man’s downfall. This foreshadowing is the Protoevangelium.

And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel


In understanding the significance of the Protoevangelium, we first note, that the angelic host were eyewitnesses to the creation of the universe itself (Job 38:4-7). They understood how the things worked at probably a more elemental level than we ever could, because they saw God create it. Now, I have to get into a little bit of conjecture here, because both we do not know and Scripture does not go into detail about what I am about to say. It is an assumption on our part to assume Satan was probably not physically present when God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden. Nevertheless, it is also reasonable to assume that Satan has some basic understanding of human anatomy after stalking and studying the pair as they interacted in the Garden. He at some point came to realize that men have seed, and women have eggs.

So after his successful efforts at corrupting the pair through tempting them to break God’s singular commandment, his prophetic “dressing down” by God in Genesis 3:15, was cryptic enough to probably drive Satan crazy for the next 1,656 years (from Adam to Noah). During this time, Satan attempted to genetically corrupt mankind in an attempt to prevent this Savior from ever being born. After the flood, Satan started getting wise to God’s plan as He began to narrow His focus down to just one man (and offspring), with that man being Abraham. For the next two-thousand years, we see numerous attempts by Satan to wipe out the Hebrews/Israelites/Jews beginning with Pharaoh and ending with King Herod.

Now things start to become very interesting.

Due to the narrowing process we see begin with Seth (Adam’s third son), to Noah, to Abraham, to Isaac, etc., Satan understood that this Savior would come from the race of Jewish people. He would have to be a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and probably understood that He would either have to come from the tribe of Judah (the Kings) or Levi (the Priests). Therefore, you can bet Satan began closely watching these two tribes. Furthermore, since Moses was the first to record Scripture (circa 1500 BC), Satan did not have any literary (scriptural) references to lean on to determine whether this Messiah had yet come or not. For all he knew, Moses could have been the Messiah. This may answer the question as to why he and Michael fought over the body of Moses after his death (Jude 1:9).

However, seeing that he was still around (uncrushed), Satan had to conclude that Moses was not the Messiah after all, and that someone else was still yet to come. Satan then resorted to using his influence over the Gentile powers to either enslave or destroy the Jewish people. He began by corrupting them, and causing them to divide the nation in two, with Israel remaining in the north, and Judah remaining in the south. He then stirred up the Assyrians against the northern kingdom, and later, the Babylonians against the southern kingdom. Satan used (and is still using) the influence of Gentile powers to ultimately destroy Israel. His goal was to keep as much pressure on them as possible, and did so through the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, pagans, Muslims, and in these days, pretty much everyone.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5

It was during the time of the Romans, that a boy named Jesus was born. Although the angels announced His birth, it was only to a select few shepherds who were out in the middle of nowhere. It would not be until Jesus was around the age of two, that His arrival would be publically heralded with the arrival of foreign, gentile wise men. This strange arrival of foreign dignitaries must have signaled to Satan, something divine was afoot. He immediately stirs King Herod to issue a kill-order and have all the boys under the age of two in and around Bethlehem, put to death. Probably watching Him from a distance, but doing nothing to stand out, Satan probably dismissed Jesus of Nazareth several times simply because He did not fit the “type” of hero Israel was looking for. He was not Moses-like. He was not Elijah-like. He was not even tall and good-looking like Saul had been. For all intents and purposes, Jesus was just your average-Joe. I believe that Satan did not even consider him a “Messiah-candidate” until His baptism at the age of 30. Even then, Jesus immediately departed into the desert to fast and pray for the next forty-days.

Probably more curious than convinced, Satan proceeds to test Him as the hunger pains kicked into high gear. And at His weakest point (physically speaking), Jesus rebukes Satan three times not by showing His power, might, and true identity, but by using Scripture. For the next three and a half years, Jesus would perform miracles, raise the dead, and preach the kingdom gospel.

Yet, from Satan’s perspective, there wasn’t anything Jesus did that had not already been done by those prophets of old who had come before Him. Moses healed the sick and performed great signs and wonders (the Ten Plagues, Mt. Sinai, etc.). Elijah raised the dead. Most of the prophets did miracles and wondrous things, or had revealed to them great prophetic truths. Jesus considered John the Baptist the greatest of all who had come before him and yet, Jesus did not prevent even him from being beheaded (Mark 6:14-29). I bet at this point, Satan was thoroughly confused as to who Jesus really was. The Apostle Paul would later confirm this confusion when he wrote in 1st Corinthians 2:8,

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory; which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would have not crucified the Lord of glory.

So shrouded in mystery was Christ that He told his disciples (Matt. 16:20) and others who had figured out who He really was, not to tell anyone (Mark 3:12, 5:43, 8:30, Luke 8:56, 9:21). He did that so everything could be carried out to its natural conclusion, which of course we know now, meant Him dying on the Cross of Calvary (Matt. 16:21). In fact, it would not even be until the Palm Sunday of the Passion Week that Christ would allow anyone to publically worship Him as Messiah (Luke 19:28-40). Moreover, when He did, the Pharisees went into hysterics. However, Jesus told them very clearly that if the people did not worship Him, the stones themselves would cry out, because that in this your day (Luke 19:42) they should have recognized Him as the Messiah (Dan. 9:24-26).

This prophecy had been given to the Prophet Daniel while the Jew’s were still living in captivity in Babylon. Satan must have known that particular message (the 70 Week’s Prophecy) was important, which is why he sent the prince of Persia (a fallen angel) to try to prevent Gabriel from being given further understanding regarding these future prophecies to Daniel. (Dan. 10:12-13). At his breaking point, Satan had finally had enough from Jesus of Nazareth. He stirred the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and Zealots into enough of a hysteria (think Jesus Derangement Syndrome) that these opposing groups were now collaborating and plotting to kill Him. They would break their own rules, the Law, and every protocol to take Jesus down at any cost. They flipped one of His disciples (an insider) to betray Him for 30 pieces of silver and Judas handed Jesus over to the Jewish authorities on the night before Passover.

Word spread quickly throughout the Sanhedrin that they had finally caught this Jesus guy, and they hastily threw together a kangaroo court and quickly arrayed a bunch of “witnesses” against Him. So quickly was this all done, that the witnesses did not even have time to get their false charges straight, so that their testimonies were contradictory. Nevertheless, the court was just a show so that the Pharisees could claim some legitimacy in condemning Jesus to death. They were determined to condemn Jesus as a heretic, and wanted to make an example of Him by putting Him to death in the most horrific, embarrassing, and painful way they could, which was death by Roman crucifixion. Such was their hatred for Jesus, that they probably thought stoning was too good a death for Him.  

They then dragged Him from the Sanhedrin, to Pontius Pilate, on to King Herod, before going back to the Romans. Pilate found no fault with Him and even washed his hands of the whole event. He gave the people a choice as to who they were to free, and the people loudly cheered for the scoundrel named Barabbas. The Pharisees stirred the crowd up to demand for blood. They were probably were proud of themselves at that moment, finally convicting a man who for three and a half years wrecked their moneymaking ministries surrounding Temple worship.

They placed a purple robe on Him and a crown of thorns on His head, and then made Him carry His own cross to the place of His execution. They did all this while they pulled His beard out, struck Him, and mocked Him. Once He got to Golgotha (Calvary), they stripped the robe off His back, which reopened the whip-wounds that would have already started to dry. They laid Him on the cross, nailed His hands and ankles to the wood with large iron spikes. They then hoisted Him up vertically so that all of His weight would be placed on His ankles. Consequently, this caused Him to suffocate and forced Him to have to push up on His ankles in order to breathe. Aside from the shame of being made into a public spectacle without a shred of decency or dignity, Jesus was at this point, in a tremendous amount of pain.

So rushed was the day that the Pharisees and onlookers probably lost track of the time and forgot that this was also the exact same time when the sheep were being taking to the temple for slaughter. Satan and his host watched eagerly through the veil, even mocking this Jesus of Nazareth from the demonic realms (Ps. 22:12). After having been on the cross for six hours, Christ cried out My God My God, why have you forsaken me? Shortly after, He gasped and gave up the spirit and died. Who Do You Say That I Am?

I know what you are thinking. Wait a minute Mr. Pete, are you telling me that Satan and his minions did not know that Jesus was God come in the flesh? Some of you might even be thinking back to specific instances where when confronted face to face, the demons instinctively knew who Jesus was (Luke 4:31-37, 41, 8:26-32). Christ may have allowed this in certain circumstances, but it was usually in the company of a very few, and in large settings (Lk. 4:31-37, 41) He commands the demons to keep quiet. Bottom line is that these lower level servants of Satan seemed to see more than their master.

However, I am willing to be a pretty penny that Satan probably believed Jesus to be only a human Messiah. If he believed Him to be like a Moses, or David, he could tempt them. Besides, Satan had success previously with every human God raised up. The Old Testament is chock-full of instances where the Patriarchs and the Prophets failed in one degree or another. He may have even suspected there was something more to Jesus than meets the eye, but would not have suspected that God Himself would become part of His own Creation.

Do you remember Satan’s second lie in the Garden? That if they (Adam and Eve) ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would become like God, knowing the difference. Satan would have never suspected that instead of us becoming like God, that God would become like us to redeem us.

Even if Satan did suspect some divine play afoot, he could not possibly know what His end game was. Jesus talked so much about the kingdom, and bringing in the kingdom, that a premature death would have effectively squashed that idea. Remember, that when Jesus was in the desert for forty-days, one of the temptations Satan tempted Him with, was all the kingdoms in the world. What he was really saying is, if you want people to worship you and for your message to spread worldwide with zero resistance. All you have to do is worship me and I will hand it all over to You (Luke 4:5-7).

Of course, we know how that turned out. Jesus shot him down quick, fast, and with finality.

Another couple of things to remember is the role of the Trinity in the Old Testament.

  • We know the Spirit was active in the creation process
  • We know Adam walked with God (presumably the Father) in the Garden before the Fall

However, the Son was hidden. The only mention of the Son we get is when He appears as the Angel of the Lord in what we now call the Christophanies. How can I be sure God the Father walked with Adam in the Garden? Well, considering the macro picture of the entirety of Scripture, the whole point for the Son to come, was to restore what was lost there, which is to say, man’s unfettered fellowship with His Creator.

We see in Ezekiel that before Satan fell, there was One who seems to have both “an appearance of a man” whose throne was high above the Cherubim. Perhaps He was hidden in some form or fashion from the Angelic hosts, although they were aware of One above them. This may add credence to Satan’s misunderstanding and belief that God would never stoop so low as to become a human.

However, we are not told how much the Angels knew about the Son, or the Trinity for that matter. What we do know is that the human form Jesus took at His incarnation, would be completely new and unknown to the fallen angels. I believe that those demons, who instinctively knew who Jesus was, probably sensed that overpowering divine nature in the same animals often could sense an earthquake is going to happen before it does.

We also know that the form Jesus took in His incarnation is the form He will likely as appear forever. In Revelation 5, Jesus (although addressed as both a lion and a lamb) still bears the marks of His crucifixion. I am not going to credit Satan with either being an idiot or being smarter than God is; I will simply say that as clever as Satan is, God was effectively able to shield what His plan really was from him. Perhaps the demons were permitted to see through Jesus’s flesh to His true nature, but Satan was not. Perhaps this added to Satan’s confusion as to what was really going on. Perhaps Satan was temporarily blinded and unable to see what was going on.  Of course, these are things we cannot prove one way or another, this side of the veil.


The origins of Easter Eggs (in the foreshadowing sense of the word), begins and ends with God our Creator. As One who declares the end from the beginning (Isa. 46:9-10), there are no surprises to Him. However, why hide those gems in the Old Testament? Why just not come outright and say that Jesus would do x, y, z and not give any room for doubt for anyone to believe Jesus is the Christ?

The veiling of the Old Testament reminds me of a quote by Sun Tzu when he said,

All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
– Sun Tzu, the Art of War

If a 5th century BC Chinese general can understand good strategy, shouldn’t the Creator of the universe understand that all the better? Make no mistake brothers and sisters, there is a war afoot. Satan (our enemy) is cunning, crafty, murderous, and the very incarnation of evil. He is desperate, which makes him exceedingly dangerous, and will not rest day or night until he thinks he has won. Moreover, he has untold legions at his disposal that seeks our destruction daily. The Apostle Paul warns us in Ephesians 6:12 that…we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

However, the war is not between God and Satan anymore, that battle was won two-thousand years ago at Mt. Calvary. The Old Testament was purposely cryptic, to keep God’s plan on a “need to know” basis. This ultimately culminated at the fullness of time, when all hope seemed lost and Christ hung on a wooden cross between two thieves, naked, beaten half-dead, mocked, and seemingly abandoned. Yet, the writer of Hebrews noted this is what Christ came to do, for this moment in time, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, fulfilled the Protoevangelium by crushing that serpent of old’s head by sacrificing everything at the cross.

And crush him He did. At the cross, Christ did what no human could ever do, which was, to live a sinless life, and die an undeserving death. In the process, He conquered death and hell taking ownership from Satan over both. This is why He could raise Himself from the dead, because death had no hold over Him. Furthermore, His death provided for us, a way across the unbridgeable chasm between an unapproachable and completely holy and righteous God, and a fallen and flawed human being. We are given Christ’s righteousness when we place our faith in His finished work at the cross. This is the true meaning of Easter. We celebrate the original and ultimate Easter egg by Christ’s victory at the Cross.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Once Upon a Time in the West…

Once upon a time, there was a dream that a man could and should be free to make his own choices, and that he was the best master of his own destiny. Although the dream of personal liberty is almost a forgotten conclusion in America these days, it had been the most radical of ideas for most of human history. It was an idea which finally promised to unshackle humanity from the weighty chains of ignorance and tyranny. For more than four thousand-years, human civilization lived and died under the subjugation of one tyrannical regime after another. It would not be until the turn of the new millennium (circa 10th-century AD) that the hunger for liberty became such a driving force that it would spark the fire for movements like the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Enlightenment, and the Age of Reason. 21st-century Western Civilization is currently living in the twilight of that dream. We have become post-Christian, post-modern, and post-American. After 800 years of searching, exploring, discovering, debating, and inventing, mankind has begun to regress at a frightful pace.

II. Historical Rise of Human Liberty

In ancient times, most pagan cultures attributed their origins to a variety of fanciful mythologies. They largely believed that their reality was guided by a fuzzy combination of fate and the will of the gods. Therefore, whatever their lot in life, it was fated to be so. Whatever their despotic leader/king/queen/ruler dictated was the will of the gods. Whatever calamities befell them, they understood these to be issues well beyond their control. However, as time passed, man’s ingenuity in creating things (weapons of warfare, commerce systems, currency, politics, philosophies, etc.) created in man a fearlessness, which persuaded him to shed his ancient ways and become the master of his own destiny (see Gen. 11:1-9).

Through the progressive eras, man began to make huge strides in the arenas of economics, astronomy, mechanical technology, medicine, sciences, and general knowledge. Concurrent to all this, was a widening divide between man and God. Human reasoning began to replace the divine. Naturalism began to replace the supernatural. The Age of Reason brought about the rise of humanism, which promised mankind the answers to all our questions given two variables- time and science. Humanism promised humanity that whatever we could dream, we could achieve through our own ingenuity and technology. And for a while, it seemed possible. However, for all of the grand treatise and theories about human origins and greatness, humanism refused to address the two critical errors in its logic- mankind’s corrupted nature, and this fallen world.  

By the time humanity reached the early 20th-century, the generally accepted academic understanding of our genesis as a species was reduced down to nothing more than a series of random, evolutionary processes guided by an indifferent and impersonal energy force. Accordingly, should man’s existence here be purely accidental- then life itself should serve no other purpose than to survive. Because of mankind’s unwillingness to repent and turn to the one, true Creator, he increasingly became self-absorbed and blinded from the truth (Romans 1:16-31). An example of how bad information spirals quickly out of control, is how Darwinian Evolution, influenced Social Darwinism, which spawned Eugenics, which supported racism by creating racial hierarchies, and helped “scientifically” validate agencies like the Ku Klux Klan, Planned Parenthood, and the Third Reich.

By the early 20th-century, the ideological/theological void had begun producing the very worst humanity had to offer. The 19th-century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once stated that if you gazed into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. According to David McCandless’s account of 20th-Century Deaths, 450,000,000 deaths can be attributed solely to the increased violence of mankind. This does not even take into account the hundreds of millions deaths caused by things like abortion, man-caused famines and diseases, and all the unaccounted for deaths and murders. What this means is that the 20th-century became the most violent century in all of human history. Therefore, if there was any truth to what Nietzsche said, then the 20th-century treated the abyss like a reflecting pond.

III. The Rise and fall of the US

The Magna Carta (1215-Runnymeade, England) was the first modern effort to free mankind from the unchecked tyranny of monarchial rule. While its original aims were limited to the landowners in medieval England, it became the first “constitution” of sorts that Europe ever had. Since Europe was still the center of world power at that time (and had been since the days of Alexander the Great), the idea of personal rights began to be transported throughout the world by way of European colonialism. Most notably, this idea took root in the British colonies of the New World, which as know, would later become the United States of America.

By 1776, the colonists of the 13 colonies had had enough of the abuses and taxation without representation from King George III of England. Thus, the leaders (our Founders) of this revolution, leaned heavily upon the past to create what would become, the most important document in modern history. They borrowed from the philosophies of the Greeks, the ideals of governance from the Romans, morality and ethics from the Bible, and the Magna Carta as a model to create the Charters of Liberty. This Charter included the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These three documents were the foundation for creating the greatest Constitutional Republic the world had ever known.

The overarching theme to these documents were designed around limiting government’s power by acknowledging that man’s rights and freedoms were both inherent, and God-given. In essence, these writings became the epitome of perfection regarding human philosophy. These documents completed what was begun centuries earlier in 1215. For the next two and a half centuries, the United States became that shining city on a hill. We became a beacon that oppressed people from around the world could flee too, to escape oppression, or just seek out a better life from whatever darkened corner of the world they came from.

The American-Century

We can trace the origins of our current world order (with the US at the helm) back to the smoldering ash heaps of Europe at the end of World War II. As the Allied Troops begin their final push into Nazi Germany (circa 1944-45), the world bankers and Allied politicians were already conspiring on ways to best shape this new dawn of human history. During the war, Europe (old world money) had gone into debt to the Americans in financing numerous war fronts across the European theater. From the 1950s-2000s, that same money and wealth slowly (then quickly) began to transfer back across the Atlantic from whence it came. History notwithstanding, the US implemented several initiatives to keep her wealth and power centered in the New World. These six US-centric initiatives/events have largely shaped our entire world order for the past 74 years.Bretton Woods Agreement: developed toward the end of WWII (1944).

  1. The Bretton Woods Agreement created a new international monetary system that lasted from the mid-1940s to the early 1970s.The agreement pegged the value of other nations’ currencies to the U.S. dollar, which, in turn, was pegged to the price of gold, fixed at $35 an ounce. With collapse of the Bretton Woods Agreement, countries could choose other ways to set the value of their currencies, including letting market forces decide. (Source)
  2. The United Nations: Having already attempted instituting a League of Nations at the conclusion of World War I and failing miserably (see Third Reich), the 20th-century globalists would make another attempt and took advantage of the crisis created by WWII to create another system of global governance. With the full backing of the United States (land, money, resources, governance) they succeeded. One of their first major accomplishments was to vote to allow the nation of Israel to be reborn. While fairly toothless at present, the UN has ironically grown into a largely anti-American and anti-Israel organization.
  3. The Marshall Plan: Named after its primary driver, Sec. of State George Marshall. The Marshall Plan was designed to aid in the economic recovery of nations after WWII and to reduce the influence of Communist parties within them. (Source) Having learned this lesson the hard way after WWI (Versailles Treaty), the US was determined to not repeat this mistake by allowing the conditions to occur and potentially create another Adolph Hitler.
  4. Cold War/NATO: With both the West (US, Western Europe, Australia, Canada, etc.) and the East (Russia, China) having fought and won against the Third Reich and the Japanese Imperialists, the end brought the dividing of the spoils of war. With clear and irreparable divisions on governance and economics, both the West (capitalist democracies) and the East (communists) fragile wartime alliance had ended. This created the need for Western Europe to form an alliance of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to protect them from further Eastern encroachment. This geopolitical tension, created a “Cold War” between East and West, which lasted from the 1948-49 Berlin Blockade, to the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
    The creation of the NATO in 1949 was designed to serve as preemptive first strike against any Russian aggression or intentions. After Russia invaded and annexed parts of Georgia (2008) and later Crimea (2014) without any western military response, many have wondered what good does NATO actually serve. The role of NATO seems to be further deteriorating with the 2016 election of President Trump, whose public insistence that the EU take a more proactive role (financially and physically) in providing for their own self-defense seems to be highly offensive to the Europeans.
  5. The Nuclear Arms/Space Race: Beginning with the highly secretive Manhattan Project, the world’s race toward a weapon of mass destruction finally ended with the American’s use of two atom bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in the summer of 1945. For four brief years, the US enjoyed atomic supremacy, but this was soon to be dashed with the Soviet Union’s first successful test of their own atomic weapon in 1949. Not to be outdone, both the US and USSR began a several-decades initiative to create even more devastating weapons. Relating to this was the race to space, for which, the Russians initially succeeded. However, the US was the first (and only nation as of yet) to put a man on the moon.
  6. The rebirth of Israel: From 70AD until 1948, the nation of Israel existed only in the history books. But due to the defeat of the Ottoman Turks (1918), and the Nazi Holocaust (1933-1945), there was both opportunity (the land) and support (sympathy/determination) for the Jewish people to return to their ancient homeland. Despite intense internal opposition to US President Harry Truman from within his own administration to support, the US became the first nation to recognize the newly formed state on May 14th, 1948. Since then, the Middle East has been a hotbed of both antisemitism, violence, and war in the Muslim’s repeated attempts (1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, etc.) at destroying the world’s only Jewish nation.

The Post-Modern Error

It has been 243 years since 1776 and we have fallen very far from what our forefathers could have ever imagined. Not only have we become amoral (and immoral), but also exceedingly ignorant and lazy. After a century of cultural Marxism dumbing down the masses, the average person on the street today probably could not tell you what the Bill of Rights are, or where to find Washington D.C. on a map. Most people alive today seem to think that the way things are now, are the way they have always been. What is even more disturbing, is that most people think things will always be this way. This line of reasoning is a form of normalcy bias, by which people judge tomorrow by the persistent presence of the present. Most people today fail to realize that this experiment in human liberty (i.e., the United States) was only ever the exception to the rule, and not the norm. There are now multiple generations who either don’t know, or don’t care, about our exceptionalism, and thus, have begun handing over their freedoms for the promise of free handouts and security.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free. With a growing number of Democrats and Millennials these days militantly demanding we turn to socialism to solve our current problems, we are at the tipping point for this nation’s survival. I say tipping point, because these aspiring communists only used to make up the outer fringes of society. Now, they include most universities (faculty and students), a growing number of elected officials, and even giants within the tech industry. These groups are now demanding socialism be instituted everywhere regardless of its economic and political ramifications.

This is the fruit of more than a century of socialist propaganda being forced upon us through academia, the media, politics, and pop culture. Since these socialists could not dismantle the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to their speed and liking, they have turned to corrupting the institutions. For example, since Hillary Clinton lost the last election, there is a growing call to remove the Electoral College and go to a purely popular vote to determine the next Presidential winner. Furthermore, whichever party instituted it, would virtually guarantee its own supremacy on into perpetuity. This would spell the end of the American experiment.

On the other side of the coin, is the perceived need by both Republicans and Democrats to expand the powers of intelligence and law enforcement agencies. This is due to the emerging diversity of threats (cyber, mass shootings, WMD, etc.) that face the nation. Additionally, the vast developments tech companies have made in the arenas of genetics, micro technology, artificial intelligence, unmanned autonomous systems, and surveillance has become downright Orwellian. While most of this seems innocuous to normal, law-abiding citizens today, imagine all that power in the hands of these radical socialists, should they ever gain control back of the executive branch.

In our current two party system, one political party has seemingly steered so hard left that it has become the single greatest threat to our own national existence. While the Republicans (mainstream GOP-types) think that power can be shared and that we should all play nice, the Democrats are out for blood. For them, there is no live and let live anymore, it is win by whatever means necessary and punish the losers mercilessly. Make no mistake, the Democrat party of 2019, is not the Democrat party of 1990, or 1980, or earlier. The Democrat Platform of 2020 will be centered on three things: Abortion on demand at whatever stage (even post-birth), anything anti-Israel and anti-Christian, and socialism (or socialist ideals).

Very few leaders have either the foresight or the moral backbone to stand against the growing tide of immorality. It is easy to caution against issues like out of control spending, or our ballooning national debt. Nevertheless, when you stand against immorality, you make it personal for the wicked, and you will reap the whirlwind. It is only when it concerns wickedness, will these godless Marxists ever cling to the Bill of Rights. Yet, their understanding of liberty has become perverted. They believe, for example, in abandoning the Second Amendment, but keeping the First Amendment not realizing they cannot have the First without the Second.


Since the 1960s, our nation has embarked upon a descent into godless immorality with frightening rapidity. This has all but assured our nation’s demise. This is not my own subjective reasoning, but historical fact that has played out repeatedly. Things such as embracing infanticide or deviant lifestyles has never bode well for a nation. As a nation, the wicked have now begun openly targeting children in the name of abortion, gender confusion, transgender story times, unisex bathrooms, and homosexual adoptions. As was the case with Belshazzar’s party, by the time the writing is on the wall, it is already too late.

  1. America’s first “handwriting on the wall” moment, was on April 19th, 1995. This was the terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City. Out of this, came the foundations for the Patriot Act.
  2. America’s second “handwriting” moment, came on September 11, 2001. It showed the world America’s soft underbelly by hitting us where we were vulnerable. It had the subsequent effect of making transportation virtually unbearable ever since, with the massive increases in security.
  3. America’s third warning came in 2007 with the subprime mortgage crises. Since 1992, the government subsidizing “affordable” housing and adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) loans to people who could not afford it. As early as 2003, this begun spiraling out of control by creating a false housing bubble. We are still suffering the repercussions of this event.
  4. America’s fourth warning came in 2008-2016, with the election of Barack Hussein Obama. As President, he had done more in eight-years to destabilize our nation (morally, economically, and geopolitically), than all the previous presidents put together. It is still very likely that he and/or members of his administration will be prosecuted for high crimes and felonies in their actions against Donald Trump’s campaign and 2016 election.

I do not know if there will be a fifth warning to our nation.

We have undeservedly earned a respite of sorts (if that is what you can call it) with the election of Donald J. Trump. Nevertheless, I believe Trump’s election has more to do with setting up Israel for a post-American world more than anything else. Because President Trump is willing to do what no other president would regarding Israel. Yet, he is only one man. He cannot save America from all that ails her. Our nation has become so deeply divided and corrupt that introducing wickedness into law always seems to sail through the halls of congress with leaps and bounds. However, if you attempt to repeal said evil, this always seems to become an impossibility of the greatest order. How can one man fight that?

For two and a half years, the Democrats, the media, the deep state, and the nihilistic leftists of academia, pop culture, Silicon Valley, etc. have waged a relentless collusion/ obstruction witch-hunt against President Trump, his family, and anyone ever associated with him. While several former members of Trump’s campaign suffered legal ramifications for their own issues, these were completely unrelated to the campaign, the Russians, or anything else connected to Trump. The witch-hunt itself has turned into a giant nothing burger, but the war waged against Trump’s presidency has created considerable mistrust in the presidential election process. It has also done irreparable damage to the Department of Justice and the FBI/CIA. On a positive note, it finally exposed who the true masters of the news media really is finally.

IV. The Rise of the New Order

They should note instead that in the aftermath of major wars, the world is rarely put back together quite the same. When Rome entered the Punic Wars, it was an agrarian republic; it finished as an imperial Mediterranean power. Waterloo reordered Europe for a century, and the defeat of Germany and Japan ushered in the 50-year long protocols of the Cold War, in which enemies became friends and friends then enemies. Who could sort out the shifting Sparta-Athens-Thebes relationships following the Peloponnesian War? It is not just that winners dictate and losers comply, but that even among allies, war and its aftermath often tear away the thin scabs of unity and expose long-festering wounds of real cultural, political, historical, and geographical difference. So it is with this present war against the terrorists and their sponsors, which when it is finally over will leave our world a very different place.  Victor Davis Hanson

If we were to go back and read the eyewitness testimonies of those who lived to see their world destroyed, they have said there was almost an inescapable sense of dread just prior to it happening. In fact, many have said they were haunted by the things they were witnessing (deterioration of an ethical culture, vast indebtedness, insecure borders, increased lawlessness, etc.) in the days, weeks, and months leading up to their demise. With that said, and understanding the calamities and challenges of the past two-hundred years, it is neither lip service nor hyperbole to say we are now living in last stages of the United States.

With the end of the American dream, comes the inevitable rise of some new form of global government to fill the vacuum. That outcome is as assured, as is the rising of the sun in the east. What has prevented this new global order from rising up thus far has been the world’s only superpower…a constitutional Republic. A Republic whose very existence prevents itself from subordinating herself to any other political entity. Some might counter with the idea that the US has more laws than any other nation on the planet. To which I add that we were never designed to be this way. We could answer President John Adam’s aforementioned statement, with that by a quote from the Roman historian Tacitus, when he said, the more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws. The United States’ Charters of Freedom were all constructed with the sole purpose of limiting government overreach, and to give power to the people; something an increasingly ignorant and decadent culture has been willing to exploit and piecemeal away for a little peace and security.

In Isaiah 46:9-10, the prophet Isaiah records that God declares the end from the beginning…and it is not that God is making us collapse, but that He can see the future and already knew from the foundation of the world, the who, what, when, where, why this last kingdom (the Beast) would come about. Several centuries after Isaiah, the Hebrew prophet Daniel was the first to be given a detailed outline of the future Gentile powers. He received this prophecy in the most unusual of ways, by having to interpret it from a gentile king’s dream (King Nebuchadnezzar).

You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. Daniel 2:31-33

Daniel continues with the interpretation of the dream…

This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. You, O king, are a king of kings…you are this head of gold. But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. Dan. 2:36-43

From the days of Alexander the Great (circa 300BC) until 2019, world power (economic, military, and political) has largely remained centered in the West. Historically we know the Babylonians (under Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson) was conquered by the Medo-Persians. The Greeks conquered the Persians. The Romans conquered the Greeks. The Roman Empire split in two after four-hundred years of Empire-rule. From Rome (the Western leg) geopolitical power moved from Rome to the north through the succeeding European barbarian hordes. However, the barbarians were only able to conquer the Romans, because they were already in a state of widespread decline (morally, economically, and militarily) and had become vulnerable on too many fronts. Sound familiar?

In the absence of Pax Romana, the European barbarian (Goths, Ostrogoth’s, Visigoths, Vandals, Angles, Danes, Saxons, Franks, Britons, etc.) largely began to settle down and build new civilizations over the formerly held Roman territory. Within a few hundred years of Rome’s collapse (circa 430AD), Europe became the prize to either conquer (i.e., Huns, Mongols, Moslems, etc.) or to trade with (Silk Road, Mediterranean, Middle East). Nevertheless, from the 800 – 1945AD, world power was largely concentrated in Europe through the rise and fall of the European nation-states.

The post-modern/ Christian era of the late 20th-century, gave way to the reintroduction of pagan religions and eastern mysticism. The 21st-century has now become a hybridized version of the worst of both the ancient ways and the age of human secularism. This hybridization is further aided by a dangerous and unprecedented technology race, which has promised everything from genetic engineering, unlimited knowledge, artificial intelligence, and even immortality. Many hope in the rise of the new gods, where technology and the supernatural are combined to infuse humanity with that one, final evolutionary push toward immortality. These technological advancements, along with humanity’s departure from moral and ethical reasoning, wholly threatens to upend the current world order.

In our present state, two great powers, the nationalist and globalist, are tearing the current world order apart. Aside from my aforementioned notion that divine justice is coming back to the shores of the United States, Daniel’s interpretation of the multi-metallic statue does not seem to support our independent existence in our current form. The ten-toes of iron and clay appear to be the next phase of great, gentile powers. We know these are ten kings/kingdoms, because it is later validated by the vision given to John on the island of Patmos some 600 years after Daniel. Instead of toes, these ten kings/kingdoms appear as crowns on the Beast’s horns (Rev. 13:1-4, 17:9-14). They will rule briefly with The Beast (the Antichrist) for the last week of years. While it is unclear exactly how all this will unfold between the Rapture of the Church, the gap in time, the opening of the Seal Judgments, and the confirmation of the covenant (Dan. 9:27), we can know a few things with relative certainty.

  • The United States (or anything resembling the US) is not in picture at all
  • The last Gentile power on planet earth, will be the Beast (Rev. 13:1-2)
  • The Beast appears to be a regional power (or confederacy) at first, and then becomes the global power through the aid of technology and the supernatural demonic forces (Rev. 17:12-13)
  • The entire world is given over to the Beast (Rev. 13:7)
  • The Kings of the East will challenge the Beast’s power toward the end of the seven years (Rev. 16:12)
  • The Beast will attempt to make one last attempt at crushing the nation of Israel (the people) (Rev. 12:13-17)

In Closing

I love my country, and I do not like being the purveyor of doom and gloom. She has been a beacon for more than three centuries, offering sanctuary to all those who sought to flee oppression. Her land once bristled with opportunity, but now, we have become a shadow of her former glory.

I am not a prophet, nor do I claim to know the how and when all of this is supposed to transpire- I just know that it will. The USS America has struck the iceberg of God’s divine justice and we are listing more noticeably to one side. We are currently over $22T in debt. We have half the nation bent on suiciding itself with socialism. Crime is becoming more pervasive and violent. People have become increasingly cynical and nihilistic. Corruption is appearing in every institution from the CIA to the Boy Scouts. The immoral majority has become a tsunami-like force that threatens (literally) to destroy anyone who stands in their way. The geopolitical threats around the world are metastasizing in size, number, and severity. The deep state Trump is currently battling is ready and willing to go to open war with the sitting president in order to keep their power in the dark. Things are not boding well for us as a nation.

Once upon a time in the west, there was a beautiful dream, an American dream, where a man could finally be free to choose his own destiny. A dream where a person could go from rags to riches, with nothing more than an idea and the will to see it through. America, with its spacious skies and its amber waves of grain. With purple mountain majesties, above the fruited plains. God’s hand of protection had long been over this once, humble nation, but as she prospered, she forgot where those blessings came from.

Generation after generation rose up defiantly shaking their fists at the Giver of life. They rejected Jesus, the Son, and turned Him into nothing more than a curse word casually thrown around at parties as if He were no more real than Santa Claus. The once most blessed nation on the planet, is finally buckling under the weight of her own duress. She turned her back on Him and now those abundant protections and blessings have disappeared. There was a dream once upon a time, but as soon as it came into its own, it was gone, and something else, too terrible and dreadful to look upon, is quickly coming to take her place.

Memories of Things to Come


Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,

Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure   Isaiah 46:9-10

There used to be a time when you could leave your front door unlocked at night.  There used to be a time when folk generally aimed to be nice to each other.  When a dollar was worth a dollar.  When schools not only taught the three “R’s”, but the civic duties that afforded us the privilege of being American.  When schools allowed prayers and the Ten Commandments hung ever mindful on the walls.  There was actually a time, when politicians could generally be trusted to do what was in the best interest of our nation.  We used to be like that, not many decades ago, but now, those days seem like some mythical, innocent age in a faraway land.

I pray you will afford me the opportunity to lament a moment on the current state of affairs for our nation.  The USS America struck an iceberg a few decades ago, and has been in an incremental state of sinking.  Unfortunately, it was happening at such a slow pace that most people either have forgotten, or were willingly ignorant that it was happening at all.  However, as time progressed, the ship has started to list more noticeably to one side, albeit, due to our size, most American’s ignored the lean in their drinks and simply attributed it to the tossing of the ocean.

Within the realm of American Christendom, overwhelmingly, the idea that Christ will soon return has been all but ignored.  The reality of Christ’s soon return has not been preached.  The message of Christ’s soon return has been labeled “sensational” and thus dismissed.  The popular rebuttal of “every generation has thought that” is repeated often, usually by well-meaning, soft-spoken, seminary-trained, clergy. 

And yet, the furniture is now starting to slide across the deck.

The question then is whether there is any prophetic significance to our national demise.


Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”  And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continuefor forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  Revelation 13:1-8

In the context of Revelation 13, we know that there is coming a system and a leader, who will wield his total authority over the entire earth. 

The entire earth also includes, the United States. Or what’s left of it.

This system (personal speculation here), will come in the form of an Artificial Intelligence system that is created in Europe, through CERN or perhaps some other European entity, which cracks the code on bringing this system online, and quickly gains control over all the other information, military, and economic digital systems connected to the grid.  All other electronic systems will become controlled by it, and since we live in a day and age, in which the World Wide Web wires the world (and the US in particular) together, the prospect of the power of this Artificial Intelligent system, is frightening. 

We also know this power cannot be American in nature, because Daniel 9:26-27 states that the same man who heads the Beast system as mentioned above, is someone who comes from within the boundaries of the old Roman Empire.  Although America could claim some familial linkage back to Rome via European colonialism (Spain, France, and England), I think many nations could equally make that claim…at which point, makes the claim moot.

In regards to our nationalistic decline and its prophetic implications, there are too many factors that I do not have the space to go into, but will summarize my understanding into a few bullet points; the bottom line is we as a nation, have turned our back on God, and are now, reaping the consequences of these decisions. (See Romans 1:18-32)

  • The mainline denominational churches departure from preaching and teaching the literal and inerrant word of God
  • The Supreme Court decisions have legalized and legitimatized evil at the national level
  • The acceleration of the moral decay of our society is in large part due to the glorification of wickedness and violence by the music, print, television, and movie industries
  • The persistent, leftist educational-propaganda, have brainwashed generations of kindergarten through university students, into secular, humanistic reasoning 
  • Our political attempts at dividing Israel and more importantly, Jerusalem 
  • Maybe it is all of these 

In reaping the consequences of our actions, we are electing men and women to rule over us, who do not have our, or their, best interests of the United States in mind.  These people, both Democrat and Republican, are being influenced either knowingly or unknowingly, by demonic principalities and powers to abandon our constitution and nationalism, for globalism.   They are being influenced to believe that the only solution to all the world’s problems is to set aside our laws and borders, and come together on a global scale. This is why our leaders today, are doing things that seem so antithetical to the well-being of the preservation of the US as a singular, sovereign nation.

At present, we have another 15 months to go until the next US president can take over, and between now and then, conservatives bemoan the prospect at the acceleration in which our current administration is feverishly working to undermine America’s greatness.  Even if we make it to the next election, the damage being done now by those currently in power will make our recovery virtually impossible.

Many still have hopes that a national recovery is in our immediate future, and that a return to our former greatness comes by way of electing another Ronald Reagan-type leader.  It would be nice to have a leader who cared for the well-being of this nation, but economically and mathematically speaking, the game is up.  At $18 trillion dollars in debt, and upwards of $100T in unfunded liabilities, we do not have enough taxpayers paying into the system, to ever pay back the money we have borrowed.  Aside from the debt’s we’ve accrued from other nations, the most devastating one is the debt to ourselves, because we’ve borrowed against our children and grandchildren’s future, so we can live comfortably today.

Moreover, because the world uses our currency as its Global Reserve currency, our economic demise will absolutely force a restructuring of all the world’s economic and currency markets.  I believe it is in this vacuum, that this final “beast” system will rise to fill the void that the American experiment left vacant.


Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.  1 John 2:15-17

The average American Christian does not know why their nation is falling apart and increasingly becoming hostile to their faith.  On the other hand, the watchful Christian, may be dismayed, but at least is not surprised by this, because they know God’s word has already told us that the in the last days, the world would wax worse and worse.  Watching the ‘hand of God’ being removed from your nation, and living through its incremental and impending collapse, is not a pleasant experience.  Were it not for the promise of our Lord’s return, many would have given up hope long ago and regressed back to their former lives.  That is why holding on to the “Blessed Hope” is so crucial in these dark days.  And because most of the American churches today are not teaching the Lord’s soon return, we are in fact seeing many depart from the faith in record numbers.

For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.  Philippians 3:18-21

While this appears all ‘doom and gloom’ as we so often we are accused of being, we know that there is an eternal, golden age coming.  There is coming a Kingdom who will have no end and there will be an end to all corruption, greed, murder, perversion, violence, and every other deviant form of sin Satan ever devised.

At the head of this Eternal Kingdom, is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who will rule and reign forever, and we as His Bride, with Him.  So even though we are witnesses to the increasing signs that this world is in its death throes (1 John 2:17), we should live each day with the understanding that we are simply pilgrims passing through. One day soon, Christ, our Ark of Safety, will return to take us to be where He is, before the world enters the time in which Christ stated would be the worst period in all of human history.  (Matt. 24:21, John 14:1-3, Rev. 3:10) At the end of those seven years…

And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”  Daniel 2:44-45



All Things Prophecy: Vol. IV


Why Prophecy Matters

I am going to begin this article with a reasonable presumption, in that; I believe Satan has read the bible. He may not believe its precepts, or accept its outcomes, but I believe he is well versed in it (Luke 4:10-11). He would have to be well versed in it, in order to misquote and attempt to corrupt its message. This leads me into the discussion at hand, primarily, that a proper understanding of Bible Eschatology is vital to both the believer’s spiritual and physical well-being. Not only that, but because of its perceived difficulty in understanding it, it is one of the most ignored of all biblical doctrines. This is something our enemy eagerly exploits. As the old maxim goes, it’s not what you know that is often a matter of life and death; it is what you don’t.

Humans are not just physical beings only made of flesh and blood, we are tripartite creatures (1 Thess. 5:23). The world is also not just, what we can perceive with our five senses, but also what we cannot see, feel, touch, etc. (2 Cor. 4:18). In fact, much of the problems the world has ever faced was ideological in nature. Whether people fight over politics or economics, religion or lack thereof, flawed man’s propensity to think, “what is best?” is often what is the chief cause of his demise (Prov. 14:12).

Adding to this is the general rise in ignorance over the past century. In part, this was a deliberate attempt be political leftists who have gained control over much of the education system to “dumb down” the masses. While true ignorance is a risky thing, being in a state of willful ignorance can be downright precarious. Let us explore two categories of what I deem, the willfully ignorant.

The Deniers
Free thinkers (aka…atheists, skeptics) like to think of themselves as unburdened and enlightened having thrown off the “shackles” of organized religion. In reality, they are setting themselves on a path of self-destruction as foretold in Scripture (Rom. 1:16-32). The old adage of if you don’t believe in something, you’ll believe in anything couldn’t be any truer. If you deny that a Higher Power of supreme intelligence created the world, you will likely accept that an accidental, unprovoked giant explosion did.

If you do not believe God created man in His image, you will likely believe we evolved from swamp slime. Furthermore, skeptics accusations of Christian’s being brainwashed and backwards, rings hollow when simply looking at the complexity of our bodies, the world, and the systems that hold everything in place. Our existence could not be accidental. Too many things are precisely correct for all of this to be happenstance.

In terms of enlightenment, the credit really goes to those early 14th-century Christian dissidents (ex. Wycliffe, Huss, etc.) who dared to challenge the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). Their role helped in diminishing the power of the Catholic Church. Furthermore, the 15th-century Reformers further weakened and succeeded in breaking up the monopoly the RCC had over Christendom in Western Europe. Their boldness in challenging the iron-fisted grip of the Catholic Church centuries before the Age of Enlightenment is what allowed the spark of change to begin to occur throughout Europe. IOW, the enlightenment could not have happened had not the Reformers (and their predecessors) begun to break away from the Roman Catholic oligarchy of the 14th-16th centuries.

The Religious
While skeptics, atheists, agnostics, flat-earthers, etc., are all in the same category of denying the painfully obvious, this group is the other side of the same coin. This group attributes religion (take your pick) with enlightenment and/or salvation. Religion of every stripe and flavor has been practiced throughout the earth since the beginning of time. From ancient Judaism, Canaanite, Minoan, Zoroastrian, Ashur religions, to the Buddhists, Hindus, Satanist, Pagan, and Christian religions of modern times. Religion of any kind cannot save you. Religion simply defined, is man’s attempt to appease a higher power through rites, rituals, dogma, and services. Religion can make people do and believe very stupid things.

Many of us would consider ourselves religious to varying degrees, but I am not addressing the born-again believers who hold to religious practices and views. I am addressing those who are not born-again, and simply view whatever their religion is as sufficient for salvation.

Skeptics love to point to the atrocities committed by the RCC in years past, as proof that Christianity has failed humanity. They ignorantly lump Christianity into religion as if attending church services were how someone becomes saved. I always counter (as should you), that Roman Catholicism is not Christian. It calls itself that, and perhaps some are born-again who still reside inside that system, but the system itself is not. When you look at the tenets Roman Catholicism holds too, you would see it is just another works-based religion. Christianity is a grace through faith-based relationship with the Creator of the Universe. One can make you a moral person (theoretically), while the latter, can save to the uttermost even the most wretched of sinners.

Not only is ignorance a dangerous thing, but Biblical ignorance is equally hazardous, especially in a topic as expansive as Eschatology, (which makes up nearly 30% of the Bible). So here are some real life examples of people who did not understand their Bible very well.During the 20th-century, more than 100M people were murdered under the atheistic regimes of the Soviet Union, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and North Korea. They replaced God with government, and created a theological worldview where there was no God, no afterlife, and thus, no divine judgment. Theology matters!

Skeptics often accuse Christians of past atrocities and are quick to point out the Crusades and the Inquisition as evidence. Is this a fair charge? What justification was there for the Crusades (1195-1291) which hundreds of thousands were killed in the name of Jesus Christ?

At the root of the cause for the Crusades, was the flawed eschatological position known as Amillennialism. Augustine of Hippo first created this eschatology back in the 4th-century as a replacement for the original pre-millennial position. Similar to how Communism replaced God with government, Amillennialism replaced the Kingdom of God with the kingdom of the Catholic Church.

Amillennialism (the a being used in the negative) posits that despite what Scriptures say (Rev. 20, Isaiah 2, 66, etc.) that there was no literal, future, Christ-centric Kingdom coming to the earth. The Roman Catholic’s position then was that they were the fulfillment of the Kingdom (headed by the papacy), and that it was their “duty” to reclaim the Holy Lands from the infidels (Muslims and Jews), and force people into Christendom. Nowhere in scriptures does it charge the church to do this. Hermeneutics matter!

Faulty/erroneous hermeneutics can cost you your life and/or everything you own, especially if you buy into false doomsday predictions. Just look at those people who diligently followed Jim Jones (the People’s Temple), David Koresh (Branch Davidians), Harold Camping (Family Radio), or Marshall Applewhite (Heaven’s Gate). Each of these groups had very flawed understandings of the Bible, and in particular, Bible prophecy. Eschatology matters!

Although I do not consider Eschatology in and of itself to be a salvific issue, I am hard pressed to believe that the Holy Spirit can indwell a full-Preterist or an Amillennialist devotee. Primarily, because although Eschatology is not in and of itself salvific, it is deeply interwoven into the other major bible doctrines. Therefore, one’s eschatological view is often a weathervane for what a believer, believes regarding other major bible doctrines.

Amillennialism and Preterism are so corrupt and extreme in their denial of Biblical truth that if one could adopt them (or either); they probably have no issue in denying other foundational spiritual truths. With that said, I am not saying it is impossible for one to be a born again Christian and still hold these views; I personally just find it very hard to believe that they could.

Loss of credibility can be devastating to one’s ministry or denomination, especially given that most ministries are based on the financial support of their followers. The Bible only teaches one Eschatological position (the Pre-70th Week Rapture, Pre-Millennial view). Any variant outside of this is therefore doomed to failure. See what WWI and WWII did to the Post-Millennial position. See what damage the Amillennial position has done to whole denominations (primarily mainline protestant denominations). See how Amillennialism and Preterism has wreaked havoc upon the Catholic Church worldview. Churches, who promote either the Preterist or the Amillennial view, are without fail, are either DYING on the vine or apostatizing. Let me sum up what that last point by a comparison to atheism.

Atheism offers nothing and takes everything

Likewise, Amillennialism and Preterism offers nothing and takes everything from the believer. As shown above, having an accurate understanding of theology, hermeneutics, and eschatology matters. For instance:

Ecclesiology: If you believe the Church must go through the 70th Week of Daniel, then your understanding of the Church is confused or warped. You likely believe either that there is no coming judgment, or that the church is destined to go through it. The reason for this is that if you do not understand whom and what the Church is, you will most likely come to some conclusion that the Church has either replaced, or has become Israel. This is the Church:

  1. Created personally by Christ (Matt. 16:18-19)
  2. Is the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12-27)
  3. Is sealed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Eph. 1:11-14, 4:30)
  4. Is neither Jew nor Gentile, but a new creation (Col. 3:11)
  5. Is not subject to God’s wrath (1 Thess. 1:10, 5:9)

Soteriology: If you believe that the Church must go through any of the judgments outlined in Revelation 4-18, it is almost a foregone conclusion that you also deny the eternal security of the believer. This denial means you believe either that Christ’s sacrifice was insufficient to pay for your sins, or insufficient to keep you saved.

  1. Jesus gives those who believe in Him, are given eternal life (John 3:16, 5:24)
  2. No one can take or separate you from God (John 10:28-29, Romans 8:35-39)
  3. Salvation means sonship and heirs to God (Gal. 4:1-7)
  4. Salvation is a free gift; we cannot earn it (Eph. 2:8-9)
  5. Christ is personally responsible for our salvation (Hebrews 12:2)

Pneumatology: If you believe the Church must go through the 70th Week (aka…The Tribulation), then you would also have to deny the role of the Holy Spirit as the Restrainer (2 Thess. 2:7). In layman’s terms, the Bible teaches very clearly that the Holy Spirit is God, and has always existed on earth throughout our history. That is to say, He (the HS) was very busy on the earth prior to His arrival to the Church in Acts 2. The HS performed differing roles, from the “energizer” at creation, to the “enabler” during the Old Testament times. The Holy Spirit would come upon and empower certain individuals for periods of time (ex. Samson, Saul, David), but it was only ever to select individuals, and it was not a permanent indwelling.

In the post-Acts 2 Church age, the Holy Spirit’s role is to permanently seal the believer (Eph. 1:11-14, 4:30), guide the believer into all truth (John 16:13), and convict the world of sin (John 16:8). What Paul posits in 2 Thessalonians 2, is that the man of sin (i.e., the Antichrist) cannot be revealed UNTIL the Restrainer is removed (2:8), which is to say, the vessels the Holy Spirit indwells. I fully understand God the Holy Spirit is omniscient and omnipresent, so I am not saying the Holy Spirit is physically removed from the earth. What Paul is saying here, is that in His present role of sealing the Church and convicting the world of sin, this particular role is what is removed. This allows for the floodgates of hell to be opened upon the earth during this final week of years.

  1. The Holy Spirit as energizer (Gen. 1:2)
  2. The Holy Spirit as enabler (Judges 13:25, 1 Sam. 11:6, 16:13)
  3. The Holy Spirit as the Helper (seals, guides, convicts) (Eph. 1:11-14, 4:30, John 16:13, and 16:8)

The removal of the role of the Holy Spirit (as restrainer) is just as necessary, as it was necessary to reboot (for lack of a better term) the Holy Spirit’s role from the Old Testament era, to that of Acts 2 and beyond. (Luke 24:29, John 16:7, Acts 2:1-4)

As Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 13:12, we currently see in the glass darkly, having a partial understanding of all that is yet to come. None of us has it perfectly figured out. However, the Holy Spirit can guide us into all truth, if we allow Him too. This means taking the Bible at face value, (literally), and keeping passages in their proper context (grammatically and historically).

Just remember, that while the whole the Bible is written for us, it is not necessarily all written to us. While having an incorrect Eschatology often has real-world ramifications, it is usually indicative of other errors in your biblical hermeneutics. The grace of God in all this is that the Rapture of the Church is going to happen regardless of our individual eschatological persuasions, and will correct all these issues the church is currently facing, instantaneously.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-54

The Politics of the Beast

Thinking about the final week of years (the 70th Week) and all that must occur therein, and I struggle to see how it all takes place within just those seven years. As noted in previous briefs, I believe there will be a gap in time between the Rapture of the Church, and the official start of the 70th Week. Looking at it purely from a logistical and operational standpoint, the man of lawlessness will have an incredible amount of things to do in a very short period of time (even with a gap).

Example: If you have ever been involved in setting up a charity event, or hosting a wedding or some other type of formal occasion, you know how time and task intensive it can be. Even seemingly, insignificant actions can become extremely taxing when one has to rely on other people to make the necessary arrangements. Now, consider how much time and resources it would take, to take over the entire world.

Perhaps it has been glossed over and lost in the context of the bigger picture, but for one man to control the entire world, to me, seems like the mother of all ambitious plans. Many have tried, and none (to date) has succeeded. However, where they have failed, the Antichrist, or rather, The Beast will succeed. Even still, the stage must be set in order for there to be a global coup to occur, and that in and of itself is no small feat. For clarification between the two, the Beast is in my understanding, the final government system that arises. At a certain point, a singular man (the Antichrist) will become the head of the Beast, and becomes the personification of it. Before we start, let us look at the current ideological coup that is ongoing and how that has come to a culminating point in these past ten years.

Marxism was a 19th-century social-construct that mixed class struggle, social conflict, economics, and psychology into a singular philosophy of governance. Its theoretical goal was to create a more equitable society. The reality has resulted in a series of totalitarian governments controlled by a small group of people (an oligarchy), or even by a lone individual (ex. Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Kim). Its method for achieving totalitarian control, is by the use of propaganda, class relations (divide and conquer), political correctness, cult of personality, and the suppression of free speech. It pits people groups against each other and specializes in creating false narratives (ex. Fake news, Reconstructionist history, political correctness, etc.) to keep the facade going. Considering how one of our two political parties is now openly advocating for socialism as well as academia, the media, and the entertainment industry, I would say this ideological coup has been somewhat successful.

Even still, it has taken over a century for this to come as far as it has.

The Antichrist will have anywhere from 7-10 years (at best) to conquer the world.

So how does this Beast take over the entire world in such short order?


Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:1-4

Therefore, when considering this final week of years and the governmental system we see managing it, we must come to certain conclusion that it will be the most comprehensive, complete, and perfect governance system ever devised by man. I say perfect only in its ability to be an authoritative control over the earth, not perfect as in a force for good. In fact, it will become the most evil and destructive system ever created. Moreover, it will have two advantages no previous empire has ever had, which is the full backing of the god of this age (2 Cor. 4:4), and an advanced artificial intelligence system that will be completely taking over through some form of demonic possession.

The numbers seven and ten play significant roles throughout the Bible. The number seven is viewed in biblical numerology as the number of divine perfection. It is the combination of the number of the divine (three) and of creation (four). The number ten is often seen as the number of completion or perfection, and is used 242 times throughout the bible. The most famous examples are the Table of Nations (of which there were ten), the ten plagues put on Egypt by God, the Ten Commandments, and the ten toes of the multi-metallic stature (representing nations) that King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed and Daniel interpreted. [Of note, there were seven combinations of materials used in Nebuchadnezzar’s statue: Gold, silver, bronze, two legs of iron, and iron mixed with miry clay.]

The number seven is used 735 times (the book of Revelation uses it 54 times). The word created is used seven times in Genesis 1 and 2, and God rested on the seventh day. There are seven days in the week, and it is in Jewish tradition that Adam was created in the seventh month. The seventh day is considered the Sabbath. There are seven major divisions of the Bible. As fascinating as the numbers are, I believe it just goes to exhibit the kind of system it will be, and why it will be different from any empire before it. Clearly, there are more than ten nations now in the world. In order for the more than 190 nations to be consolidated down into ten, means a process of regionalization. I believe regionalization is the interim fix between the goals of nationalists and globalists. The scope and breadth this government must become in order to do all Scripture says it must, requires much stage-setting first. This stage setting may shed some light into the lunacy we see going on in today’s political theater, and why these issues are critical to The Beast’s overarching aims of global domination. In no particular order:

1. Climate change: Part of the pre-70th Week narrative is this idea that man causes climate change. While mankind may contribute too, and/or exasperate certain climate issues, we certainly cannot control it. Nevertheless, the current political green movement we see today (Al Gore, AOC, Bernie Sanders, et. al) is not as concerned with fixing the world as it is in controlling and taxing it. The final government will need the narrative firmly entrenched into the common citizen’s psyche ahead of the Rapture, to provide the justification for implementing it in a time of crisis (think Patriot Act). This will provide the governing authorities then legal authority to begin controlling the entire world’s natural resources, to include, the air they breathe (UN Agenda 2020/2030). Secondly, the Beast will need man-caused climate change to be the escape-goat (excuse) necessary to shape the narrative regarding the divine judgments wreaking havoc upon the earth. If you take into consideration all the particular judgments of which deal with natural catastrophes (Seal Judgments 3 & 4, Trumpets 1-4, Vials 2-6, etc.), there will needs be an excuse that excludes the possibility of divine wrath. Paradoxically, we read that by the Sixth Seal Judgment, man begins to attribute the cosmic disturbances as the Wrath of the Lamb (Rev. 6:16-17).

The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Revelation 8:7

2. Ecumenism: No exclusive religions will be tolerated inside the 70th Week aside from the one being promoted by the False Prophet (the Harlot). Given the plurality of religions in the world today, there will needs be two convergent efforts underway to make this happen. First is the oppression of exclusive religious views, and the promotion of inclusive (one size fits all) ones. We see the oppression of Christianity today throughout the government, media, academia, and elsewhere, however, ALL views (Hindu, Buddhism, Islam, et. al) will one day be forced into this mandatory ecumenism.

The exception to this absolutely intolerant position will be that of Orthodox Judaism, as they will be allowed to rebuild their third temple. It may also be that the Beast will not be able to stop the Jews from doing so with the arrival of the Two Witnesses protecting/distracting the Beast’s efforts in Jerusalem for three and a half years. However, all that changes with the death of the Two Witnesses, which seems to be near the mid-point of the Tribulation. At this point, the Antichrist (head of the Beast) betrays the Jews and desecrates the Holy of Holies in this new Temple by declaring himself God and making people worship him (see 2 Thess. 2:3-4).

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” Revelation 17:1-2

3. Digital Money: In order for the Beast to control the world, it will need to control the money, which means doing away with all national currencies and going to a centralized one. The world will be forced to wean itself off paper money by taking advantage of the right global crisis. As I have noted numerous times in the past, I believe that perfect crisis to be the Rapture of the Church. Whereas there has been global crises in the past (ex. WWII), what was lacking was the technology for a suitable replacement to said physical currency. Think of the days/weeks just after the Rapture, and the likely geopolitical chaos and upheaval that will ensue with millions, perhaps even a billion people all of a sudden disappearing. This would be the opportune time for the governments then (perhaps the U.N.) to implement a Bretton-Woods Agreement 2.0, which instead of replacing the gold standard with the US Dollar will replace the US Dollar with some new form of International Digital currency.

Currently, governments around the world hate physical currency because it is not easily traceable, ergo, more difficult for authorities to control. This is why criminals and others who do not want the government to know what they are doing and where they are doing it, prefer physical money. I believe this is also why the globalist entities today (IMF, UN, World Bank, Federal Reserves, etc.) are allowing nations to bury themselves in national debt, because the greater the debt accrued, the lesser the crisis needed to become the tipping point toward this new digital currency.

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:16-17

4. Peace & Security: There has been much ado these days about building walls, especially along our southern border. Whilst all this has been garnering the bulk of the news feeds as of late, another type of wall is being built without much fanfare. That wall is the technological iron curtain, which is being laid quietly around the world. Techno-giants such as Google, Amazon, Alibaba, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, and others are all racing to develop technologies, which they believe will aid in the evolution of mankind. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Quantum computing, block chain technology, digital currency, unmanned and autonomous weapon systems, global surveillance, Nano-technology, and biometrics to name a few, are supposed to make the world a better place.

The band of Big Brothers (Russia, China, UK, and US) are the top endemic surveillance states on the planet today. They are working in tandem with the aforementioned tech-giants to develop an array of information processing platforms and networks, which are sold to the public as being for our own safety and security. Granted, this is not to say that these governments and companies’ purposes are doing all this is for purely nefarious reasons, because there are plenty of problems and issues both face. From corporate espionage and national security, to terrorism and crime, the world has become an increasingly dangerous place. This requires increasingly complex strategies to control it. However, the Antichrist will use this technology to cement his iron-fisted control over the entire planet. There will be nowhere to hide.

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:7-8

5. The Hybrid Domain: The world’s current greatest military, the US Department of Defense, has in large part, moved its priorities away from fighting small, regionally confined conflicts (insurgencies, counter-insurgencies, and terrorism), back to that of the nation-state threat on a global scale (think World War I or II). They have factored in the advancements in technology so that we are not just fighting on the domains of land, sea, and air anymore, but also in space and cyber-space. Furthermore, with the world’s population topping 7.5 billion, we now realize that any future major conflicts, will likely take place in dense, urban areas such as megacities. This adds in still another factor, the subterranean domain (as most large cities have large underground infrastructures such as subway systems). However, what most governments and organizations fail to contend with is the spiritual domain.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

Beginning with the Age of Enlightenment, the world’s academic and scientific elite have increasingly denied the existence of the spiritual realm. This has resulted in the rise of naturalism (that everything has some logical basis for being) and the explosion of human secularism. This has resulted with the academic promotion of atheism, Darwinian evolution, Big Bang theory, Freudian psychology, and other empty theories that deny the reality of the spiritual domain. This is problematic for humanists, atheists, etc., because science is now proving that there is a lot more to our reality than previously understood. This denial is something the Beast will paradoxically exploit as the world’s elite remain in shock at what just transpired.

The development in the understanding of quantum mechanics (late 19th-early 20th-century) is now beginning to bear fruit in the 21st-century. What Einstein once famously labeled “spooky action at a distance” is now being harnessed into the power of quantum computers. The first time I was introduced to the topic of the “quantum realm” was by the late, great Chuck Missler who often compared the truth of quantum physics to the truth of the Rapture by use of a quote.

“The popular Cal Tech physicist Richard Feynman has summed up this paradoxical situation well: I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics… In fact, it is often stated that of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it, in fact, is that it is unquestionably correct.”

Elon Musk, Geordie Rose, and other leaders within the technology industry are now openly commenting on the potential breakthroughs quantum physics has presented.

“Imagine a world where all of the laws of physics as we know them are obeyed but different decisions were made along the way, different decisions at the level of tiny microscopic particles, different decisions all the way up to what you chose to eat for lunch, and whether you chose to come to this session or not. Quantum Mechanics makes a very specific prediction, that all of those are as real as the thing that you remember… But science has reached the point now where we can build machines that exploit those other worlds.” – Geordie Rose, Founder of D-Wave (Source)

As it turns out, the Rapture will not only remove the believers from the earth, but will also fundamentally change reality, as they (those left behind) know it. Although the rapture event will have to be explained by the authorities as something, I believe they will attribute it to something we are now being exposed to through the media, pop culture, false religions, etc. such as ancient aliens, UFOs, Maitreya, New Age Mysticism, the “Snapture,” etc. Which may be why there is a renewed interest in the post-apocalyptic genre these days. Likely, the days and weeks after the Rapture will be overflowing with every conceivable conspiracy theory as to where so many people (and children) vanished too. Simultaneous to this, is the gateway (portals) that science-based organizations (NASA, CERN, DARPA, etc.) are actively attempting to open. Where they were unsuccessful in the past (pre-Rapture) in breaching these other dimensions (the spiritual domain), the barrier will now be removed and they will inadvertently unleash hell upon the earth.

So how does the Antichrist exploit this?

Science is now introducing the possibility that through technology, they can explore other dimensions (DARPA, CERN, NASA, etc.). I believe the reason they have not crossed that boundary as of yet, is due to the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit (i.e., it takes a Spiritual Being to restrain the spiritual forces). However, once the Holy Spirit-filled believers are taken up at the Rapture of the Church, this divine barrier will be removed and there will be an explosion of supernatural unleashed upon the earth. The paranormal will become the new normal and the Antichrist and False Prophet will use this to deceive the entire world.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2nd Thess. 2:9-10

The Mark of the Beast

Last week I got to thinking about the true purpose (the why) behind the Antichrist’s need for a system like the Mark of the Beast. Aside from the already stated economic and religious reasons given in Scripture (Revelation 13), my opinion, is that there is also a very practical reason for it. By the time, he begins to come to power; the war on truth will have reached a crescendo of sorts. So much fake news and information leaks will be ongoing everywhere, it would seem that in order for him to secure his position of authority, he would require a plan that demands absolute loyalty.

Much in the same way Nazis had to wear the swastika as a symbol of political loyalty to the Reich; this mark will also be a symbol of allegiance to the Beast. Not only that, but will also likely influence the bearer’s ability to reason to such an extent, that once you receive it, you will have permanently abdicated your right to free will. That will be the ultimate form of sacrifice this man will require.

Therefore, while we do not know who this Antichrist is, nor do we know what exactly how the number 666 fits into this technology, we know it is coming because the technology is already here. From Deep-brain neurostimulators to electronic tattoos, there are numerous types of wirelessly controlled implantable technology. While most of this technology is being used benignly for medical purposes, this man will conceive of a way to use them as a form of control. He will figure out a way to tie this into the new form of digital currency that will arise once our current fiat system has collapsed.

Interestingly, both regimes (the Nazis and the Beast) will have only truly ruled for seven years. While it is true that Adolph Hitler came to power in 1933, he really did not get around to his true intentions until 1938, when he invaded Czechoslovakia. From 1933 until 1938, Hitler seemed like a great man of peace and enterprise. He was praised all over Europe and even in America by many political leaders and captains of industry for bringing Germany back from the economic brink with his Four Year Plan. However, from 1938 until 1945, Hitler’s true colors came out and he was bent on conquering everyone he could, at whatever price. Similarly, the Antichrist will first come out as a man of peace; riding on a white horse, as a man on a mission (Dan. 8:23-25, 9:27; Rev. 6:1-2).

As outlined in my Volume I, after the Rapture, the world will be thrown into chaos. This rider on the white horse will seemingly have all the answers to the issues that will be plaguing mankind at that time. Since Satan is the defacto ruler of this earth and age (Luke 4:5-7, 1st John 5:19), he is the primary instigator of all the problems which have always plagued mankind. As such, Satan will hand over the keys of the earth (metaphorically speaking) to this man and he will do the impossible. The world will marvel after him, and for the briefest of moments, he will seem like the answer to their godless prayers.

So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

Revelation 13:4

What gets lost in translation here, is the timing of all this. So as a bit of a recap, allow me to list out how I believe things will transpire.

  • The Rapture of the Church decimates the US and triggers a global collapse of the present world order
  • The Rapture is immediately followed by a three to four and a half year gap in which the following occurs
  • The formation of the Beast (government) and Harlot (religious) world system begins
  • The calamitous destruction of Damascus by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) prompts the hook in the Jaw for Gog. The chaos will be used as justification for Israel’s nuclear first-strike policy against perceived threats (Isaiah 17)
  • After this great victory, Israel receives global condemnation for the use of excessive force, and begins to largely dismantle their IDF believing they are finally out of harms’ way (Ezekiel 38:8-9)
  • The global collapse of the West, coupled with Israel’s disarmament triggers the Gog-Magog invasion (and why the US is unable to come to Israel’s aid) (Ezekiel 38-39)
  • After spectacular divine deliverance, Israel unanimously approves building of third Jewish temple (Rev. 11:1-2)
  • The building of the third temple prompts the arrival of the Two Witnesses arrive and begin their three and a half year ministry (Rev. 11:3-7)
  • The world is realigned under ten regional commands (Dan. 2:41-43)
  • Using subterfuge, the Antichrist dislodges three other regional leaders to garner the controlling interests of the Beast system (Dan. 7:7-8, 19-24)
  • The ousting of the three kings by the Little Horn (The Antichrist) will signal his arrival on the global stage as The Antichrist (Rev. 6:1-2)
  • The Antichrist is now in a position to confirm the covenant with the many. Presumably some treaty between Israel and the Beast system, which allows her to operate independently of the Beast (Dan. 9:27
  • Seals 2-6 occur in conjunction with the ensuing conquest by the Antichrist to secure his global dominion

This season of conquest is why Antichrist will require unwavering loyalty by use of this permanent mark with his name. Much like the current Social Credit System China is currently employing, the Mark of the Beast will be everything, and without it, you cannot do anything. Furthermore, to deny receiving it, will mean a forfeiture of all property and certain execution. The mark itself will most likely genetically alter your DNA, and will corrupt your mind (loss of free will) possibly causing the bearer to enter into some form of demonic possession that never lets go.

I personally believe that demonic forces can possess technology. Just think about all the creepy things Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already saying these days with simple systems like Alexa and Siri. My theory is that the Antichrist will be a man who is embedded with some form of quantum-powered (quantum dot), AI infused, technology that will give him unfettered and immediate access to all the digitized information stored around the world. Perhaps this is why places like the Utah NSA Data Center exists. This data center (one of many) can hold upwards of five zettabytes of data [a zettabyte equals a billion terabytes]. Furthermore, our DNA itself can hold massive amounts of information (around 700 terabytes in a single gram of DNA), which may also be how he accesses it.

Imagine how powerful a man could be, if he could perfectly recall any information ever conceived of in mere milliseconds by accessing this data with assistance of AI. Now imagine that same man who is embedded with a form of quantum-based AI that is also possessed by Satan himself. Satan and his fallen angels were here before Creation, so they certainly understand how everything works down to a molecular level.

He will know where all the hidden treasure is buried. He will know every dark secret conceived of on earth. He will be able to manipulate everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb’s book of Life, simply by knowing all their dirty secrets. Francis Bacon once noted that knowledge is power. If that is the case, then this man will be the smartest unredeemed man to have ever lived.

Not only will he have access to all the conventional knowledge in the world, but he will also be able to access the secret (multi-dimensional) knowledge that is hidden from our reality. He will have the dutiful support of the False Prophet, who can summon up supernatural demonic powers. The world at this time, will want to worship this man. He will be for all intents and purposes, the world’s first superhero. This is why a supernaturally charged False Prophet, who can do signs and wonders, directs all worship towards him. Antichrist will be (my opinion) the physical embodiment of the Singularity, or at least, that is what people will think of him as being.

Nevertheless, by worshipping this man for temporary respite, he or she will be condemning themselves to an eternity in hell. Whatever temporary enjoyments they have here on earth, will be extremely fleeting because before hell, they will endure the divine judgments increasingly compounding upon the earth. From cataclysmic natural disasters, to the bloodying of the waters, scorching the earth, devastating heat, and tongue-gnawing darkness. Their messiah will not be able to stop the wrath of God from being poured out upon the earth.

Even still, the mark of the beast will so pollute their minds, that they will be incapable of repenting. All they can do is curse and blaspheme God. If the mark of the beast involves some form of neuro-engineering, those who bear it will not be able to reverse it.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11

The World That Was


“In early 1914, though, it seemed almost impossible that Britain and France would go to war with Germany to defend Russia against Austria-Hungary over a dispute with Serbia. Yet by June 28, war moved straight from impossible to inevitable — without ever passing through improbable. Four years later, 10 million people had died.” (From World War One: First war was impossible, then inevitable; Anatole Kaletsky)

Although I have used this quote in the past, I’ve found myself drawn to it again due to its precise accuracy describing the seemingly incredible and often unpredictable nature of geopolitics. Prior to World War I, who would have believed it? Yet after it was over, the warning signs of impending trouble were so obvious that most could not believe they had missed it. Even though the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand could not have been predicted, it simply became the right crisis at the right time the old powers used to set the world afire. World War I itself then became a forcing function by the old world who were stubbornly clinging to the dying vestiges of the world as it was. However, change came nonetheless and no one could stop it.

Juxtaposed to the seemingly unpredictable (and unbelievable) nature of global geopolitics, is the inevitable march towards a future, one-world system. We can see early efforts for this in moves like the League of Nations and later, the United Nations (UN). The UN, along with its cornucopia of bureaucratic offshoots, continue to try to gain global influence and power through treaty and peer pressure. What it lacks at present is a military force capable of enforcing any of these treaties.

Even more so, is the combined financial, informational, and military efforts across the world, solely concentrating on consolidating more and more power into fewer and fewer hands. This is made possible by the snowball-effect of the technological advancements in the 20th century. In fact, so much innovation has transpired over the past century that the technological advancements of the 20th century alone have eclipsed all the progress of the previous six thousand years of human history combined. Our dependence on technology has all but ensured that an ultimate centralized power controlling everything is already a foregone conclusion.


When asked about the last days, Jesus told His disciples that the end of the age would be recognizable because of the many signs those days would present themselves. Although these signs in and of themselves were not unique (as signs are meant to point to something further down the road), what would be unique was the manner of their manifestation. Jesus likened these signs to ‘birth pangs’ a woman goes through leading up to the birth of a child. In pregnancy, the first and second trimesters have few (if any) contractions (pangs). But as a woman enters into the third (final) trimester, the pangs first come sporadically but soon come in rapid-fire regularity finally reaching a crescendo in both frequency and intensity to the point where the child is coming and she must seek immediate care for delivery. So too would the generation that enters into this final “trimester” of human history be witness to the delivery of ‘the child.’

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:20-23

Just as Rome’s founding was many centuries before it became a world power, the same is true for the United States. The US was founded in 1776; but did not become a world power until the end of World War II. For a brief period following WWII, the US remained the world’s lone super-power. It was here in this tiny window of time, that she became instrumental in providing the global and political influence the newly formed nation of Israel would need in order to survive as an island of democracy in a sea of tumultuous Islamic theocracies.

But like everything else, the world’s corruptive and persistent influence has/is forcing the United States to concede to its demand to divide Israel. This is primarily due to our dependence on oil from said Islamic theocracies. Inevitably, our betrayal equates to a “ratcheting-up” of seemingly insolvable problems due to the Abrahamic Covenant effect, which God both promises and warns that I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. We view this covenant in a global sense, (since God was speaking to the nation who would come from Abraham) as the prophetic fulfillment we know simply as the convergence. In other words, the more the world turns against Israel, the more problems the world is going to have.

“For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.

Joel 3:1-2

The convergence then is simply the visible escalation and divine approval of natural calamities and man-caused problems since 1977. The land for peace agenda began this year between Egypt, Israel, and the United States with the Camp David Accords. Since then, there has been an ever-increasing series of tragic and horrific events overwhelming the entire world. For those watching, the rapid uptick has been startling. For the rest of the world, the normalcy bias has set in and the world has been lulled back to its slumber.

Presumably, Satan learned his lesson post-Calvary (1 Cor. 2:6-7) and now understands (Rev. 12:12) that his time is running out. The conflict we then see in the world is one in which the world that is currently controlled by Satan (Luke 4:5-6) is trying to stay the way it is, rather than allow God to press forward with His divine timeline. This then results in wars and rumors of wars, which inevitably allows for rapid innovation. Man’s technological, financial, and political progress careens forward then because crisis demands action and solutions. In other words, Satan can’t stop God’s agenda no matter what he tries.

The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. Luke 16:16

Therefore, in the macro-sense, the world continues to press forward in all aspects, and the drama involving all its nation-states seems to be ever fluid and unpredictable. The issues of death, eternity, the kingdom of God, heaven, hell, God, the angels, etc., all seem to be distant things no one wants to talk or even think about, yet it will not go away. Inarguably, there have been moments in time where mankind’s mortality (in the collective sense) has been so shaken, that it unintentionally makes the world wake up, even if only for the briefest of moments. Such has been the case with 9/11 or the 2011 Japanese Tsunami. Even then, a little time passes and said-event passes into mankind’s short-term memory.


The election of Donald J. Trump was in a sense, the last gasp of a free American people. Here is a man who by all accounts (at least according to every expert and think tank on the planet) should not have won the election. His election was as unthinkable and as impossible, as the scenario found in the start of World War I. Yet, win he did, and he did so with as Steve Bannon called it, the island of misfit toys team. Let me explain.

For eight years, both Christians and conservatives had been force-fed the incessant mantra of the big three lies by the Obama administration. It was done with an intensity and zealotry that was shocking to anyone who had an ounce of common sense. For brevity’s sake, the big three whoppers were man-made climate change, aggressive historical revision (whitewashing or rewriting historical facts), and that all cultures and religions are equal. It was piped through all the Sunday news shows and by all the academic panels with their “experts.” These were they who all created the perfect echo chamber to make sure this message was beaten into our heads day after day. By the time 2016 rolled around, the last vestiges of American common sense found itself electing a man who was so far removed from the mainstream political fray out of sense of rebellion against having to endure another four years of the democrat propaganda machine.

Nevertheless, elections have consequences and the lies that were pumped via airwaves and Wi-Fi for eight years have unfortunately stuck in Western culture. This has us Christians are looking around the world today and finding ourselves increasingly at odds with the mainstream narrative. Even worse, is that there is a growing rift in Christendom between those congregations who are acquiescing to a culture in decline (accepting of gay marriage, transgenderism, abortion on demand, illegal immigration, cultural relativism, etc.), and those who are not bending the knee to popular consensus. Pretty soon, those not bending the knee will be as popular (and numerous) as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego on the plain of Dura (Daniel 3).

But are we Christians guilty of the same type of wishful thinking that those in the old world were guilty of by believing we can keep the world as it was? Are we guilty of actually thinking we can Make America Great Again?

The Bible does not predict any great revival in the last days before the Tribulation (i.e., the 70th Week of Daniel). America is far too diverse today to ever make that an eventuality. I do not mean ethnically diverse, but politically, religiously, and ideologically. Ten people in a room could not agree on where the moon was in relation to the earth. Furthermore, President Trump is finding out the hard way that the swamp does not want to be drained, and will do everything in its power to prevent it. The same could be said for our brothers and sisters across the pond in Great Britain with BREXIT. I do not believe it ever will happen because the EU and British swamps cannot let that happen.

My intent is not to be Mr. Doom and Gloom (Doug Woodward already owns this title!), but to simply make one point. The reason that the born-again Christian is finding himself or herself increasingly at odds with the world is that the world is the swamp, and is in the process of giving itself over to a strong delusion. Instead of draining it, God is going to purge it through judgments and with fire before He makes it great again. However, before He does any of that, He is going to remove His people by way of the Harpazo (i.e., the catching up or the Rapture). Then the world will be forcibly cast headlong into the final week of years. So fellow believer, do not get too sentimental on the world is it was, or frustrated at what it has become, because it is about to change.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:16-17
